Bezen & Partners is pleased to announce that the World Bank Doing Business 2019: Training for Reform has been released and, for the sixth year in a row, the firm has been acknowledged as a contributor to the Getting Credit – Legal Rights in Turkey.

The Bezen & Partners contributors included partners Serdar Bezen, Yeşim Bezen, Murat Soylu, senior associates Uğur Sebzeci and Can Özilhan, and associates Tuğcan Akalın, İlke Işın Süer, Duru İyem and Aykut Aydın.

Doing Business 2019: Training for Reform, a World Bank Group flagship publication, is the 16th in a series of annual reports measuring the regulations that enhance business activity and those that constrain it. The Getting Credit – Legal Rights indicator, which measures the degree to which collateral and bankruptcy laws protect the rights of borrowers and lenders, is one of the 11 indicator sets published by the Doing Business report.

Doing Business presents quantitative indicators on business regulations and the protection of property rights that can be compared across 190 economies—from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe—and over time.
