Our Information Note on the postponement of organisations in the fight against COVID-19 has been published.

1. INTRODUCTION

As part of the measures adopted in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, the Circular No. 2020/3 on the Postponement of Organisations (the “Circular”) has been published in the Official Gazette dated 20 March 2020 and numbered 31074.

2. THE CIRCULAR  

According to the suggestions of the COVID-19 Science Board established within the Ministry of Health, all scientific, cultural and artistic and similar gatherings or activities at national or international level to take place in outdoor or indoor spaces have been postponed until the end of April.

Accordingly, expositions, seminars and summits scheduled to take place until the end of April will be suspended. The possible rescheduling and new dates of such events will depend on the statements of the relevant organisers and institutions.

3. CONCLUSION

In light of the pace of the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the provisions of the Circular constitute an important and adequate measure.
